I am a Winner!

Yea, my card was chosen as the winner for CASE Study's, CSC92 challenge!

Our winner for CSC92 is Arlene from Water Dots!!

This is what CASE Study had to say about my card:

I love how Arlene conveys the message in a simple yet striking and gracious way. It's a design that surely would appeal to any teenager out there, with its bold and graphic look, but I like how she added the little feminine touches (notice the pearls?) that add charm and extra interest.

Thank you CASE Study for choosing my card, your thoughts on my card was exactly what I tried to portray.  Also, a big congrats to all the other winners in this challenge!

Congratulations Kelly!

Intensive Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology!  WOW, the title alone blows me away.  My little cousin just graduated from Yale University with distinction in this major along with winning the Edgar Boell prize that is awarded to one senior for excellence in research!  We are extremely proud of her and we wish her only the best for a bright and beautiful future.  Congratulations Kelly!  :)

Here is the graduation card that I made for her.  I am playing along with this week's challenge at CASE Study Challenge Blog.  I kept this card very simple yet elegant which truly signifies Kelly's personality.

Sentiment is from Hero Arts, Month of June stamp set and 2012 is an image from the Silhouette store that I cut out twice and adhered them to each other using pop dots.

Volleyball Thanks!

Here is the thank you card that I made for my daughter's volleyball coach.  I wanted this to be a clean and simple, no fuss card using washi tape.  This came together within minutes, I just needed a bit more patience waiting for the faux enamel to dry.

Volleyball stamp is from Stampabilities and I used black dimensional faux enamel to accent the card.

UR Fabulous, SSC59

Here is a card that I made to play along with Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge.  This was such a fun and simple card to make...my type of cards!  :)  Chupa is very creative and her work is simply inspirational!

Sentiment is from Little Yellow Bicycle, Friends stamp set.  I love the distress look of these stamps, I am surprised I don't use them more often!

Here is photo of the Sketchbook Saturday challenge:

I will also enter this card into the Damask and Brocade challenge over at Moxie Fab World. Thank you Chupa for letting me know about this challenge! :)

Mother's Day, CSC90

Happy Mother's Day to all my blogger friends!  Hope everyone had an amazing Mother's Day filled with lots of memories to cherish for a lifetime!  Here is the card that I made to play along with this week's CASE Study challenge.  I wanted this card to be CAS, so I thought it was perfect to CASE.

I used this same stamp last year so I think I need to buy another for next year! Any excuse to shop! :)

Here is the card from CASE Study:

Happy Birthday, FMS34

Here is a card that I made using this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I needed two 1yr. old birthday cards on Saturday and I was so tempted to use the same sketch from my previous post but decided to challenge myself to another sketch.  Here is what I came up with...

Number and border are both cut from white glittered paper by DCWV.  Sentiment is from My Creative Time, Gift Card stamp set.

Celebrating One, MOJO240

Here is a birthday card that I made to play along with this week's MOJO Monday challenge.  This was such a fun sketch to work with.

DP is from Lime Twist, Out of the Blue collection, number and sentiment are from PTI, By the Number Die and Big Birthday Wishes.

Here is a photo of the MOJO sketch:

Happy Birthday, CSC89

I made this card to play along with this week's CASE Study challenge.  This was a gorgeous card to CASE, however I needed a birthday card for a little boy so I improvised on the colors a little.

Here is my take on the CASE:
Sentiment is from Close To My Heart and DP is from Lime Twist, Out of the Blue collection.

Celebrate FMS33

Here is the card that I made to play along with this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I made this card earlier in the week but felt it was missing something...until I found matching pearls to the flower pearl in my stash.  Amazing how a few gems/pearls can add just the right finishing touch!  :)

DP and tag are from Kaisercraft, Chapter One collection, pearls are from Recollections and flower is from American Crafts.
